You asked for it! The first season of the Dyslexia Stories podcast is coming. The first season of the podcast, recorded over the last three years, remains a part of our team’s ongoing media effort to produce materials about dyslexia, a neurodevelopmental learning disability that affects how the brain processes written language. Dyslexia makes reading, writing, and spelling difficult despite normal intelligence and is unrelated to an individual’s overall capabilities and IQ. Statistically, 1 in 5 people is dyslexic. Whether you are a dyslexic learner, parent, family member, educator, lawmaker, employer, or community member, we hope Dyslexia Stories helps you learn more about this neurodivergent learning issue.
Special thanks to the folks who shared their stories for season 1.
